Using J Trim to install our panels:

The J Trim is designed to simplify and speed up slatwall installation by acting as both an alignment guide and a temporary support during mounting. Installation begins by fastening the J Trim directly into the wall and studs along the bottom edge of the slatwall area and, if desired, along one or both vertical sides. This creates a defined frame (before any panels are added) that establishes straight edges and a consistent starting point for panel placement.

Once the trim is secured, slatwall panels can be slid into the bottom channel or lowered into place from above when both side trim is used. The J Trim helps hold the panels in position, keeping them aligned and supported while fasteners are installed. This reduces the need to manually support panels during installation and helps maintain consistent spacing and level alignment.

With the panels resting securely in the J Trim, installers can then quickly fasten the panels directly into wall studs, working across the wall in an efficient, controlled manner. This process improves installation speed, reduces adjustments, and helps ensure a clean, professional finished result.
